- Look for an online source that is an authorized dealer that has an actual retail fitting center.
- Some online sources are open 7 days/week, 24 hours/day because they work from their "basement" or "garage" and use service agencies to answer the phones and take orders.
- Be a Smart and Safe shopper - make sure they have an actual store - not just a picture of a smiling face.
- Read the fine print. Some support hose stores charge a restocking fee of 20% for returns.
Please Be Careful!
We get frantic phone calls and e-mail messages every week from people who buy online from sites that do not have a physical location or a Certified Fitting Center.
Most are very upset and angry because of poor customer service and the lack of fitting knowledge available from these other online sites. We've heard stories from these customers how some of these stores have gone out of business and left customers without their product or money.
One customer told us they made a mistake and ordered over $180.00 worth of stockings, in the wrong size, and the company would not take them back. Then the company went out of business.
Make sure the support hose company you do business with has an actual "Brick and Mortar" certified fitting center location. |
