Step by Step - How to Measure for Support Hosiery
How to Measure for Healthy Legs®
Here is what you will need:
Measuring Tips
Measuring is simple. Sizing for medical compression stockings is based on the circumferences of the leg. It is best to measure earlier in the day before swelling builds in the legs. Measurements taken later in the day after swelling is present may result in choosing a stocking size that is too large.

Ankle Measurement

Measure around the
smallest part of your ankle.
This will be above the round bones
on both sides of the ankle.

Calf Measurement

Measure around the
fullest part of your calf.

Height

Sole of the foot to the
bend in the knee.

Thigh Measurement

Measure the circumference of the fullest part of your thigh; this is about two inches down from the pelvic area.

Height

Sole of the foot to the
gluteal fold
